Coach Bio
Coach Sergio Sepulveda’s passion for soccer was sparked at just nine years old, watching his older sisters take the field for Ottawa Hills. That early love for the game eventually led him to coaching, which he began during his service in the U.S. Air Force, working with U10 and U17 youth players while stationed in Panama City, Florida. Those formative years coaching away from home laid the foundation for an exciting return to where it all started.
After returning home in the summer of 2023, Coach Sepulveda came full circle — joining the staff at Ottawa Hills, the very school where his love for the sport began. He started as JV Boys coach before transitioning to lead the JV Girls program, and was later elevated to Varsity Boys head coach, a role he proudly holds today. His coaching philosophy centers on resilience: the belief that no matter the obstacles, every player has the capacity to endure and succeed.
